Poetry in Motion: The Naomi Gurbler Collection

By Rhoda Michaels   Fri, Mar 27, 2009

When my friends Jean Palmer and Francine Levitov approached me and asked me if I wished to write a short article recommending some lesser-known modern poetry available in audio format, I was delighted. It is time the listening public discovered the short pieces of modern poetess, Naomi Gurbler.

The remainder of this article is not available.

Rhoda Michaels is a figment of Francine Levitov's imagination.  So is  Naomi Gurbler.  For those interested in actual poets and their work reviewed in this issue, we highly recommend The Essential John Milton and our Editor's Pick of the Month, Your Own Sylvia, a unique, creative account of the life of Sylvia Plath.

Jean Palmer and Francine Levitov wish all of their SoundCommentary readers a happy April Fool's Day.
